Treatment List

Blepharoplasty
The excess skin of the upper or lower eyelids is eliminated through an operative technique, restoring a young and fresh look to men and women.
Surgery is performed with local anesthesia or sedation, never under general anesthesia.
Using radiosurgery, the excess skin or the part of the relaxed palpebral skin is removed and finally an aesthetic suture is activated with very small threads that displays removed 7 days after the surgery
Decongestion of turbinates with Argon Plasma
It is a new technology based on electronagulation mediated by Argon gas carried by a tiny probe on the mucosa to be treated. The affected area is ionized and starts decongesting.

The application does not involve direct contact with the tissues and creates a coagulation zone (no bleeding) with a penetration of 3-4 mm.

The treatment is performed under local anesthesia with an outpatient procedure, without the need to inflate the nasal cavities. The results indicate that the degree of nasal obstruction is significantly reduced at 8 weeks after surgery, even in patients with perennial allergic rhinitis.

Indications to treatment:

Nasal stenosis with allergic hypertrophic rhinitis;
Nasal stenosis with non-allergic hypertrophic rhinitis;
Rhinopian roncopathies;
Hapogenic hearing loss

Internal ultrasounds

WHAT IS THE INTERNAL ECOGRAPHY?

In recent years, the fields of application of internal ultrasound, thanks to technological progress, have progressively widened, also with the aid of the color-Doppler that completes the examination.

The organs of which an ultrasound evaluation is possible are innumerable, both of the abdomen (liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, abdominal vessels, lymph nodes, bladder, prostate, uterus, ovaries and, if the operator is experienced and with specific competence, intestine), both of the neck and superficial tissues (thyroid, parathyroids, lymph nodes, salivary glands, skin, subcutis, muscles).

Ultrasonography does not give radiation, is not invasive and is easily repeatable.

hair removal
Laser hair removal consists of the use of an Alexandrite laser that acts exclusively on hairs, recognizing the melanico pigment (dark hairs) as a target.
Laser light only affects the hair bulb in its growth phase; therefore only the hairs that are hit in the anagen phase will not grow back anymore; the others, even if thinner, will sprout again.
Electromyography
Electromyography is a useful test for diagnosing diseases of the nerves and muscles.

An electrical stimulus is applied to the skin above the nerves, and eventually a fine needle into the muscles of the limbs. The most frequent symptoms for which this test is indicated are: tingling, burning, cramps, pain in the upper limbs (eg: carpal tunnel and cervicobrachialgia) and pain in the lower limbs (eg: lumbosciatalgia, diabetic polineuropathies).

Photorejuvenation
Photosilk is a pulsed light source that causes the elastic fibers to contract and the production of neocollagene with successive distension of the skin surface and improvement of the skin of the face and “décolleté”.
This light source corrects the damage induced by exposure to ultraviolet radiation, so acts on skin photoaging.
To obtain the best result, between 4 and 6 applications are needed, once every 3 weeks.
The session lasts about 15 minutes and the application causes only a slight sensation of warmth
Laserlipolysis
It is a cosmetic surgery technique that allows to remove small areas of fat, for example the bearings of the thighs or knees, without running the risks of liposuction where instead the risks (due to the removal of large masses of adipose tissue) are definitely higher.
It is a small surgery that is performed under local anesthesia, never under total anesthesia.
Otoplasty
Consist of an incision at the back of the ear, the removal of a lozenge of skin and remodeling the cartilage of the pavilion with points in order to recreate the missing fold.
So proceed to the medication by immobilizing the ear with an elastic band for a week.
For adults, the intervention can be performed under local anesthesia for about one hour at our Polispecialistico Medical Center.
For young children is necessary general anesthesia
Radiosurgery
Radiosurgery is teh fusion of electrosurgery (or diathermocoagulation) and the LASER experience.
The radioscalpel allows the quickest execution of small surgical procedures, with less discomfort on the part of the patient.
The aesthetic result obtained is certainly superior to traditional surgery (scalpels), since radiosurgery results in less tissue damage.
Resurfacing
The doctor through a surgical laser (generally Er: YAG), removes the entire epidermis (layer by layer) vaporizing it, until the superficial dermis.
As a deep peeling, but in a more secure and controlled way, the resurfacing allows the complete renewal of the superficial layers of the skin, attenuating, until the disappearance, wrinkles or depressed scars such as post-acne.
Riduzione cicatrici
During the operating session, the area affected by the scar is treated with a laser beam, directed through a handpiece that emits a small spot of light, in order to obtain controlled vaporization of the cells of the epidermis.
You can perform several steps depending on the depth of tissue ablation you want to achieve.
In cases where attenuation of deeper acne scars must be achieved, it will be necessary to perform the laser sitting in pharmacological sedation, due to the duration of treatment and the most intense discomfort that follows.
General anesthesia is never necessary.
Tattoo removal
The laser device selectively hit the pigment which, by thermolytic effect, melts and eliminate so-called “scavenger” cells of the skin.
Unfortunately, not always the elimination of the tattoo is so simple.
If tattoo is monochromatic is sufficient use a single type of laser; in the polychromatic case (more colors) it is necessary use different types of lasers: Neodymium YAG laser for black-brown color, Q-switched alexandrite for green, Q-switched ruby laser for red-orange
anti-cellulite treatment
The treatment is based on TriActive (by Dermodinamic) and consists of three phases: the action of the laser promotes microcirculation in the venous and arterial level, also increasing the lymphatic flow.
Cryotherapy is able to reduce edema by stimulating vascular gymnastics in synergy with the laser.
The rhythmic suction stimulates lymphatic drainage and causes a mobilization of the tissues, generating a greater elasticity of the collagen fibers.
Vascular treatment
The clinical classification uses a specialized Vascular evaluation, accompanied by an ecocolordoppler exam, which allows the evaluation of the saphenous and the deep venous system.
Telangiectasias or “capillaries” can be treated with sclerotherapy or laser therapy, while varicose veins are corrected with laser techniques or traditional outpatient surgery, with particular attention to the aesthetic aspect.
The ecocolordoppler is a safe, repetitive, non-dangerous method that allows to identify and monitor asymptomatic plaques, responsible for Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or stroke, to be treated with medical or surgical therapy, in order to avoid disabling complications.
Abdominal aortic aneurysms are also identified.
Face treatment
During a first basic visit, the patient will be subjected to a skin check-up, necessary to know the properties of the facial skin. An appropriate treatment will be prescribedbased on the data collected during the instrumental survey (non-invasive); and so a domiciliary treatment aimed at restoring normal skin conditions.
The application of a salicylic acid mask will make the face brighter and prepare the skin for the LIFT treatment.
Neurological visit
The neurological examination is indicated if there are disturbances in the cognitive sphere (eg loss of memory and disorientation), disturbances of movement and sensitivity, tremor, balance disorders and incoordination, headache, migraine, anxiety disorders, loss of tone mood.

It consists of a brief interview concerning the subject’s disorders and subsequently in a visit in which the doctor controls the various functions of the nervous system.

Ultherapy
Non-surgical lifting Ultherapy

Ultherapy is the only FDA-approved treatment protocol for non-surgical face and neck lift and décolleté rejuvenation.

A single treatment session stimulates the natural production of collagen fibers, the proteins that make the skin toned, smooth and compact.

Treatment Protocol

The Ultherapy protocol begins with a careful examination of the aging state of the skin. Depending on the starting situation and the result that the patient wants, a treatment plan is elaborated by identifying specific areas, depths and intensities.

The natural lifting effect

With the passing of the years, the skin’s support texture weakens, generating skin laxity that makes the face tired and aged.

The micro-focused ultrasounds used in the Ultherapy protocol arrive in depth in a targeted manner, focusing exclusively on tiny dots. Here they are transformed into heat and reach the ideal temperature to stimulate the production of new collagen fibers (structural proteins of the skin that make it toned and compact). Although some changes are visible immediately after the treatment session, the true results come with the succession of weeks, as the body reactivates the production of the collagen fibers and the skin regains its natural support.

Why Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is the only non-invasive treatment protocol able to reach deep, where skin laxity originates. Before Ultherapy, only the surgical operation could reach the muscular layer.

Ultherapy is the only non-invasive treatment protocol able to reach deep, where skin laxity originates. Before Ultherapy, only the surgical operation could reach the muscular layer.

The Ultherapy protocol can be performed throughout the year and on any type of skin because the ultrasounds arrive only and exclusively at the points chosen in depth, without affecting in any way the surface of the skin. There are no problems for those exposed to the sun or for those with dark or tanned skin.

With Ultherapy you always get extremely natural results because the protocol is based on the simple reactivation of a normal process carried out by our body: the production of collagen fibers. The extreme customization of the protocol makes it possible to identify the optimal treatment plan for each patient.

Ultherapy is a good choice for those with moderate skin laxity and do not feel ready for surgery or invasive treatments. On the other hand, Ultherapy can also be an excellent option to refine the results of surgery or to work synergistically.
